Laxmi Intercontinental, the sole authorised distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Global IME Bank Limited to extend financing options for its Electric Vehicles (EVs). 

Rupendra Wagle, head of Small and Medium Credit Department of Global IME Bank Limited, and Indra Prasad Sapkota, general manager of Laxmi Intercontinental, signed the MoU, Laxmi Intercontinental said in a statement. 

The deal means customers can now finance their Hyundai EVs via Global IME bank at an interest rate of 12.99 per cent. 

“The vehicles purchased under the plan will be delivered within three working days,” statement said, adding that the contract between the two parties would enable will help a large number of EV enthusiasts get easy access to the vehicle of their choice from Hyundai. 

Customers can visit any branch of Global IME or any of the 17 showrooms of Hyundai around the country and contact respective departments to avail the offers, according to the company. Hyundai’s Kona and IONIQ 5 are two of the highest-selling EVs in Nepal. With this agreement, customers can easily avail both the options.
