Parijita Bastola, an American singer of Nepali origin, has made it to the top 10 of the American singing reality show, The Voice.

Q106.5 radio, a US Townsquare media station, citing show host Carson Daly, reported who progressed through to the next phase of the sing-off series.

“Parijita Bastola received enough votes to advance to another week in the competition,” media station said.

Seventeen-year-old Bastola, a member of team John Legend, performed Adele’s song “All I Ask’ during the Top 13 live show on Tuesday morning.

“She took the stage during the live show to deliver a technically complex cover of Adele's ‘All I Ask’, though her coach was sure she was ‘up to the challenge’," US media ET reported.

After the performance, Bastola was able to continue the journey of The Voice based on the votes.
