Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Gandaki Pradesh by 69 runs in the Prime Minister's Cup National One-Day Cricket Tournament on the back of outstanding performances from spinner Sushan Bhari and captain Binod Bhandari. With this victory, the Army has bolstered their semi-final chance.

Sent into bat at the Mulpani Cricket Ground, the Army made 165 runs in 47.4 overs. Gandaki could muster only 96 runs in 33.2 overs. 

Army captain Binod Bhandari scored 54 runs off 79 balls with four fours and two sixes. He shared a 79-run partnership with Bhim Sarki for the seventh wicket to erect a competitive total. Sarki scored 39 runs off 45 balls with three fours and a six before being run out.

Opener Anil Mandal was dismissed for 26 and Arjun Saud for 13 runs were other notable contributors. 

Gandaki's Bipin Khatri took four wickets with two maidens in 10 overs for 23 runs. Kamal Pariyar took two wickets. Amrit Gurung, Chandrakant Paudel and Subas Bhandari took one wicket each.
In reply, Gandaki made a promising start to the innings, as openers Sameer Kandel and Arjun Kumal added 41 runs in 16 overs. 

Kandel scored 39 runs off 92 balls with five fours and Kumal made 14 runs off 43 balls with two fours.

Gandaki lost consecutive wickets with the remaining batters looking out of sorts. They lost six wickets for 18 runs to find themselves reeling at 58-6. 

Army bowler Sushan Bhari took five wickets in nine overs with 14 runs including two maidens. Kushal Malla took two wickets with a maiden in seven overs for 28 runs. Sahab Alam took two wickets at the cost of 19 runs with two maidens in 7.2 overs.
