The Chandragiri Municipality has announced 5,000 street lamps will be installed under the 'Bright Chandragiri' campaign from the budget allocated for the purpose this fiscal year. 

Last year, the municipality installed street lamps along the Kalanki-Nagdhunga-Pipalamod section of the highway. 

It has also called on the municipality denizens to submit applications at the municipality office identifying the places the street lamps are to be installed. 

Declaring that the procurement process has been completed, the municipality said it would be also installing CCTV cameras and free Wi-Fi at various public places in each ward. 

“The work to install CCTV and Wi-Fi devices will start soon,” the municipality said in a statement, adding that installation of the street lamps and CCTV cameras would be expedited.
