"The Ministry has discussed about the project with the municipality and approved it as well. With this, we have pursued policy-related topics for the speedy implementation of this project," said the Mayor of Chandragiri Municipality, Ghanashyam Giri.

According to Giri, the Municipality has already held all-party consultation in the initial phase and the user groups would be formed within a month. “The survey and design-related work will be forwarded as well.”

The social security expert of the project, Samir Dhakal, said that the project is included among the model projects in South Asia. “The survey and design works of the project would be concluded within the next year.
