Kathmandu Metropolitan City handed over the donation to Chairperson of Purvi Chowki Rural Municipality, Ram Prasad Upadhaya.

The donation was allocated from KMC’s disaster management fund. Stating that the victims are living in flimsy huts in the harsh cold weather, he stated that the temporary shelter can’t be a long-term solution.

Balen Shah urged the state machinery, related ministries, MPs, governmental non-governmental organisations plus individuals to provide help to the Doti Earthquake victims.
